if every generation shrugs off the importance of the space program, wants to focus solely on earth, we are doomed. 5 billion years go by in the blink of an eye. before you know it, the sun is on its last legs and we're scrambling to get the fuck out of here. we need to plan ahead. yes it's expensive. but it's the only way we can survive long term. so, fellow humans, support the space program, support missions to the moon and mars. because although they might seem a little unnecessary now, they will lead to something bigger and allow us to conquer the universe. or at least survive when grandpa sun has carked it.
